Shortlisted for Industry Awards
 Redbridge
growers and staff have done tremendously well at the UK Grower
of the Year Awards, to be held 24 February 2005 in the Royal
Lancaster Hotel Hyde Park. Redeva is shortlisted for the Science
into Practice award, for the application of research to a
commercial business, with Redeva MD Ronnie McNicol nominated
for Lifetime Achievement award for outstanding contribution
to horticulture.
Summerfruit Company blueberry grower
David Trehane is in the  running
for Young Grower of the Year (under 35) with his company The
Dorset Blueberry Company up for the prize of Soft Fruit Grower
of the Year. Redbridge Produce & Flowers supplier Holme
Farm, currently working with the Business Development team
on new initiatives, is shortlisted for Vegetable Grower of
the Year. Let's keep our fingers crossed for success!
