growers and staff have done tremendously well with four nominations
at the UK Grower of the Year Awards, held 24 February 2005
in the Royal Lancaster Hotel Hyde Park.
Congratulations to Summerfruit Company blueberry
grower David Trehane who won Young Grower of the Year! Redeva
was shortlisted for the Science into Practice award, for the
application of research to a commercial business; David Trehane's
company The Dorset Blueberry Company was also in the running
with for the prize of Soft Fruit Grower of the Year. Redbridge
Produce & Flowers supplier Holme Farm, currently working
with the Business Development team on new initiatives, was
shortlisted for Vegetable Grower of the Year.
