Redbridge Produce & Flowers wins
Floral Business of the Year
 Redbridge
fought off stiff competition to secure the award of Floral
Business of the Year at the Re:Fresh awards at a ceremony,
held at the Marriot Grosvenor Square, London May 5th
The award celebrates the progress Redbridge
has made in the past year in our flower wholesale business,
with many new introductions and business developments. These
include the Blue Box branding, establishing a consistent level
of quality in wholesale markets; the flower of the month and
exclusive French and Italian products.
It is also testament to the dedication of
our Flower Managers and Flower department staff - salesmen,
porters, drivers, office administration and accounts - who
work long unsociable hours in hard conditions.
Redbridge companies were also shortlisted
for three other awards : Foodservice Supplier (Redbridge Caterfresh);
Wholesaler (Redbridge Produce & Flowers); and 5 a Day
Supporter (Redbridge Group).

Soft Fruit Expert Honoured by Peers
Congratulations also to Douglas Kemp, awarded
the judges' Lifetime Achievement award for his long and successful
career in soft fruit. During his long and impressive career
in soft fruit, Douglas formed AFI, now part of Redbridge Worldfresh.
