Spring Florist Event 2006

Redbridge Produce & Flowers once again exhibited at the Spring Florist Event, held at the Birmingham ICC in January. Redbridge received great interest from new visitors to the stand and encouraging feedback from current customers expressing their delight at recent products and services offered.

RP&F took SFE as an opportunity to showcase the new wholesale website www.redbridgeflowers.com. By having a presentation of the website running on laptops on the stand, we succeeded in showing a large number of visitors the new service available and the simple ordering process.

A competition was run on the stand to win £250 worth of flowers from www.redbridgeflowers.com, this attracted 580 entries, contact details from which will make a great addition to our ever growing florist database.

Redbridge also sponsored a floristry design competition for florists and students at the show, on the theme of 'Proud to be British.' Our winners were as follows:

Sunday: 1st Place: Jeremy Howard from Chloris in Norfolk
2nd Place: Michelle Humble from Secret Garden in Newcastle
3rd Place: Shirley Perry from Shirley's Flower Designs in Bishop's Stortford

Monday: 1st Place: Julia Knight from Fenside Flowers in Great Yarmouth
2nd Place: Kimberly Gibson from Henley College in Coventry
3rd Place: Julie Ryan, also from Henley College in Coventry
