Redbridge Worldfresh celebrates another excellent season of soft fruit

Redbridge Worldfresh's soft fruit specialists, The Summerfruit Company, recently celebrated another excellent season of soft fruit supply with an end of season review, held on a cold but sunny day at Windsor Racecourse.

Sixty Summerfruit Company soft fruit growers and staff enjoyed presentations from Worldfresh staff on developments in the UK soft fruit industry during 2005, followed by an exciting afternoon's horseracing.

Without exception, The Summerfruit Company growers praised (once again) the job done by Worldfresh and The Summerfruit Company throughout the year. It was recognised that the year was a tough one for most in the industry, yet the growers all agreed that Worldfresh had done a sterling job in placing all the fruit in the best way possible.

Redbridge Worldfresh Managing Director Richard Parke-Davies praised his staff's efforts throughout the year.
