Summerfruit Company shows Growers the way at Fruit Focus

The Summerfruit Company, the soft fruit company of Redbridge Worldfresh, is once again exhibiting at Fruit Focus, the annual show for UK growers of soft fruit.

Its ever-popular hog roast, and a bar serving berry smoothies and puddings, make a welcome return. In addition, The Summerfruit Company will be offering food for the mind as well as the body.

Ian Waller and Adrian Wallbridge will be presenting a seminar for grower members of The Summerfruit Company from 11am onwards. They will give advice on selecting the best varieties for each grower's specific conditions, as well as coordinating programming of crop harvest within the grower base.

Growers can also see photographs from the current Redeva trials of new berry varieties, and of Nicola and Pamela, the latest new varieties to undergo commercial propagation.

The Show is held at HRI's research site at East Malling, near Maidstone, Kent, Wednesday 28th July 2004 from 9-4.30. The Summerfruit Company's stand is H4.
