Eva Izsak: Strawberry Breeder for over 30 years. Inventor of a physiologically new kind of strawberry called "Infra Short Day". Released 16 named varieties of the above, including Volcani Strawberry (Dorit, Tamar, Yael), GIYO Strawberry (Suzanna), Angus Fruits Strawberry (Ava). Awarded a commendation in 1995 from the Ministry of Agriculture in Israel for outstanding contributions to soft fruit breeding

Derek Jennings: Fruit breeder of Strawberry (Christine, Nicola, Pamela), Raspberry (Glen Clova, Moy, Prosen, Lyon, Ample, Joan J, Squire, Irene, Brice), Blackberry (Loch Ness),. Hybridberry (Tayberry). Awarded Wilder Medal 1998; Scottish Horticultural Medal 1979; Elsoms Seeds, Lifetime Achievement Award 2001

Irene Geoghegan: Strawberry Development Manager at Redeva, working closely with Eva and Derek. Research Scientist at Scottish Crop Research Institute for 31 years. Specialist in insects, nematodes, plant breeding and dissemination of science to the public for which she was awarded a Lifelong Fellowship from the Millennium Commission in 2002. Wide experience of berry farming having been raised on a berry farm.
